Manny Ramirez led the team in homers and RBI. Pedro Martinez was only one of 3 twenty-game winners in the campaign. Even though Jon Lester went (8-16), he still was second in overall ERA in the American League. The back end of the bullpen was very stingy as Jonathan Papelbon and Dick Radatz combined for 103 appearances, a 6-3 record, and 48 saves.
